Manage Search Engines via API

I would like to be able to manage custom search engines via API.

The reason I would like to be able to do this is that I want to be able to host search engines in places that have both dynamic IPs and dynamic ports without needing to manually update the search engines in the dashboard any time the IP or ports change. In my most ideal scenario I could have my engine server detect when its IP or port changed and use that to trigger than API call that patches over the address for that engine.
